In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, City of Dreams Manila presents a special menu offering at Crystal Dragon until September 15. Ushering in luck, good harvest, harmony and unity, lunch and dinner at the premium Cantonese and regional Chinese restaurant comes with an especially-prepared selection of exotic and succulent dishes.

Crystal Dragon showcases exclusive a la carte dishes symbolizing prosperity, happiness, and unity. The lobster in the Wok Fried Boston Lobster Tails with Spices, Salt and Pepper is considered as the “dragon of the sea”, and symbolizes unity; while the Steamed Marinated Pork Ribs with Pork Sausage and Mushrooms and Wok Fried Vermicelli with Shredded Pork, Vegetables and Foie Gras bring strength, wealth and abundant blessing. The Braised Sea Cucumber Baby Abalone with Bean Curd in Clay Pot represents good fortune, with the sea cucumber – also known as the “ginseng of the sea” – known to possess numerous healing and therapeutic properties. The Sauteed Sea Grouper with Mushrooms, Honey Beans and Celery brings prosperity while the Stewed Chicken with Chinese Wine Sauce, Taiwanese Style, signifies prosperity and togetherness. The Homemade Snow Skin Moon Cake and Chilled Sweetened Mango Sphere Coconut Mousse offer a delightfully sweet conclusion to the indulgent array of dishes.

Crystal Dragon likewise offers a special mooncake, beautifully packaged and imported from Macau. A traditional delicacy served during the Mid-Autumn festival, the mooncake is filled with white lotus paste and double egg yolk and is priced at P2,980++ each for a box of four and P2,780++ each for orders of ten boxes or more.

The Mid-Autumn Festival celebrates a tradition of sacrifice to the moon, and brings family and friends together by appreciating the full moon, preparing special Chinese dishes, and centering on the sharing the mooncake as the symbol of wishing each other a long and happy life.
